Hakama

This beautiful high quality pleated style pant was historically worn by the Samurai to hide leg movements and give the illusion of floating. The Hakama is famous among traditional Japanese Martial arts such as Aikido, Kendo, Iai Jutsu, Biken Jutsu, Kenjutsu, Ninjutsu, Ninpo, Ju Justu, Hapkido and many other systems. Koshiato in back attach ties for a firm fit at waist. Students of modern kendo, aikido, iaido and some styles of jujutsu wear the hakama.

This jacket, features a two inch lapel and is cut one inch longer than a traditional jacket.

An additional layer of material reinforces vents, underarms and back of shoulders. Stress points along seams of sleeves, lapel and hems have a multiple lock stitching for added strength. Six rows of stitching on lapel, eight rows of stitching on hem of pants, jacket and sleeves.
